Celina Vergel de Dios, RCC, has an M.A. in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University) along with a second Masters degree specializing in social-emotional learning (University of British Columbia). Celina is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as well as a mindfulness program facilitator with certification from Mindfulness Without Borders. She has additionally completed facilitator training in nidra meditation from Semperviva and Karma studios in Vancouver, B.C.
The foundation of Celina’s approach is creating meaningful connections with her clients that involve collaboration around their goals. She believes that optimal outcomes become more achievable when clients are actively involved in the wellness process. Celina’s practice advocates that mental health should not just focus on the absence of our issues/problems but should also uncover how to enhance our overall quality of life and optimize our strengths.
When Celina started Verge Wellness in 2020 her resolution was to “Help clients make wellness a priority”, so here we go!
